My Background
I am an experienced German and Spanish teacher in London, specialising in online language teaching, with students coming from around the world.
I hold a professorship of German at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama London, and teach German at one of the UK’s top schools.
100% of my students studying toward GCSE, AS-Level and A-Level have achieved A or A* (or equivalent).
Learning a foreign language is hard. Drawing on my long experience as a teacher, I guide you through your learning process and make sure your efforts deliver results at every stage. My teaching is goal-orientated and adjusts to your individual pace. I work with the skills you already have, at the level you’re at, to build up your ability and confidence. You will be amazed what you can achieve, starting on day one!
For me, teaching a language is fun and we all learn better when we’re relaxed. There is usually a lot of laughing in my lessons! I’ll enjoy discovering what you know and finding out how you learn best. You will have fun discovering the new world that mastering a new language reveals.

Fees depend on the duration of the lessons (1 hour minimum) and qualification taught.
Online or face-to-face
I specialise in online tutoring, with lessons taking place on Zoom.
For face-to-face teaching I invite you to my studio in the Barbican in central London, or a public place of your choosing.
